  • Checked engine stalling. Checked the engine and found engine started and run no problem. Checked the starting and charging system and no problem found. Customer states that before engine stalled the battery light came on and engine slowly lost the power and stalled. Customer tow the vehicle to the shop.
  • Checked the alternator, checked the fuses, checked the wiring and no problem found at this time Suspect the alternator is going bad. Replaced the alternator at this time under the warranty

  • Technician checked the rear window defrost, checked the switch, checked the fuses, checked the wires and found all good. Checked the power and ground to the window and fund both are present. Suspect the window grid is bad. Needs to replace rear window.
  • Technician checked for water leak inside the vehicle and no leak found
  • Checked exhaust leak and exhaust leak found at this time
  • Technician checked overall the vehicle. Checked the tires, checked the brakes, checked the suspension, checked the belt hoses, fluids and found there is power steering fluid leak, there is engine oil leak. Engine oil needs to be change. Right side engine mount is broken. The brakes are about 80%. Tires are about 40%. Customer authorized to replace engine mount at this time by the phone 916-730-8267
  • ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION MOUNT – Remove & Replace – In-Line4 Engine
  • Lubricated and checked chassis. Changed oil and oil filter. Checked air filter and breather filter. Checked all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection. Road test vehicle.

  • Technician checked the engine light scanned the PCM and found code P0301. Started the engine and noticed there is tapping sound from the engine and there is misfire. Checked the spark plugs. Checked the fuel injectors. Checked the ignition coils and wires and no problem found. Checked the compression and leak down test and noticed the number 1 cylinder valves not opening. Removed valve cover, checked the valvetrain and notice the number 1 cylinder push rods are loose. Suspect the camfallower is broken. Needs to remove the heads and replace cam followers. Customer authorized to fix it by the phone
  • Disassembly the engine, removed cylinder heads, replaced active fuel management system deactivation cylinders valve lifters/camfollowers, replaced cylinder head gasket set, spark plugs, water pump, thermostat and reassembly the engine.
