- Technician checked the engine light scanned the PCM and found code P0301 misfire number 1 cylinder. Checked the engine data, checked the ignition coils, checked the spark plugs and found number 1 ignition coil is bad. Noticed number 2 and number 4 coils was replaced. Needs to replace number 1 ignition coil. Customer authorized to replace it by the phone. Replaced number 1 ignition coil, clear the code, test drive the vehicle and noticed the engine running fine and no engine light came back on
