- Technician checked the noise, test drove the vehicle and noticed there is rattling noise coming from the engine bay as soon as vehicle start to move from the stop. Raised the vehicle checked for loose parts no obvious problem seen. Checked the fluids and noticed the engine oil is very low. Suspected the engine oil splashes back and fourth inside the oil pan and not getting to the oil pump at time and engine makes the noise. Suggest to do engine oil change and see if that is the problem. Customer authorized change the engine oil and filter at this time.
- Lubricated and checked chassis. Changed oil and oil filter. Checked air filter and breather filter. Checked all fluid levels and tire pressures. Preform basic safety inspection. Road test vehicle.
