- Technician checked the engine stalling and noticed the engine will not start. Checked the fuel pressure. Checked the spark, checked the engine cranking and no problem found. After pressing the accelerator pedal noticed the engine starts and ran fine, but as soon as the pedal is released the engine stalled. Checked the engine idle speed valve and noticed the valve is not working. Checked the power and ground at the valves and noticed there is no power to it. Checked the wiring and fuses and found the fuse is blown. Replaced the fuse, started the engine noticed the engine starts and ran fine at this time. After test drive the vehicle noticed the fuse burned again. Replaced the fuse and noticed the engine runs fine. Suspect the idle air control valve is bad. Needs idle air control valve. Customer authorized to replace the idle air valve by the phone
