Services Performed
- Technician checked the engine stalling and found the engine will not crank over. Checked the battery, wiring, starter, starter relay, ignition switch, and found the battery positive terminal is broken. Replaced battery positive terminal and the problem did not fixed. Checked the fuses, scanned the modules and found code P0420 Catalytic converter B1, U1001, U1000 CAN communication fault. Noticed there is no communication with TCM. Checked and found the TCM fuse is blown. Replaced the fuse and engine started. Turn the engine off and try to start again it did not start. Checked the fuse and found the TCM fuse blown again. Replace the fuse for several time the fuse still blows again. Checked the short and no problem found. Suspect the TCM is shorted internally. Needs to replace TCM. Customer authorized to replace TCM by the phone 916-513-8150.
